My wife just keeps pushing me away

What is going on with marriage today, it seems that the men are crying out for help! As a marriage counselor, professional writer and wife myself, I can't help but be heartbroken over so many recent comments that I have received on my articles from men. Women refusing to be intimate with husbands, wife's cheating on their husbands. What has happened to marriage, family, and children? Has the woman's movement of the past really one over board and has become a set standard into our lives so deeply that we have forgotten how to be women? Many times I see this internal fight in woman about wanting to have it all. The husband, house, kids, career, independence but no balance. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a strong woman, educated, and have the skills to make it on your own, but when we forget our biology in all of this it will wreck havoc on our marriages.

What happen is that many husbands actually need their wives in a way that goes far beyond what women now days understand. A man needs his wife to be his woman! This is biology at its finest, and yes we can run from it all that we want as women but when it comes down to the basics, most marriages that survive the test of time are those that still have basic roots in the traditional family values. Woman greeting their husband with a kiss and hug when they get home from work. Family dinners that the family actually sits down to. A wife that respects her husband and makes him feel like a man. Intimacy in the bedroom, yes sexual relations, where a husband and wife still enjoy making love with one another. The divorce rate is at an all time high and marriage in general is down, so my theory is ladies add a little family tradition back into the marriage. For the women who want to marriage their marriage work, take note that your average man is not complicated. Men need some love, love making, appreciation, respect and a wife's attention, and then they will be a happily married man.
