Google Adwords

You can be running your campaign on Wellness.com in minutes through a Google Adwords account targeting Wellness.com or through Wellness Sponsored Stories. The following instructions will show you how to get started.


1. Sign up for Google AdWords
Anyone who has a Google AdWords account can run ads in the following places:

  • Wellness.com
  • Google.com search results
  • Other sites in Google's content network

The Google AdWords advertising platform allows you to reach users directly on Wellness.com targeting the entire site or pages that match your keyword. If you don't already have an AdWords account, go to https://adwords.google.com to get started.


2. Create a Placement-Targeted Campaign on Wellness.com
Placement targeting lets AdWords advertisers choose which sites they would like to appear on within the Google content network. To create a new placement-targeted campaign, follow these steps:

  • Make sure you're logged into your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com.
  • Find the Campaign Summary page and the table titled Online Campaigns. Click "Placement-targeted" in the 'Create a new campaign' section at the top right area of the table.
  • Follow the sign-up wizard instructions to create your campaign.

3. Set Up Your Campaign
While you're creating your campaign, you can decide exactly which ads you would like to run, where they are likely to appear and how much you'll be willing to spend.
From the Campaign Setup Page you be able to:

  • Target user languages and geographical locations.
  • Create a text, image or video ad and fill in the requested forms.
  • Target 'List URLs' and enter your desired URL (e.g., www.wellness.com).
  • Select 'Get Available Placements' to see which placements match your target URL.
  • Set Price ranges and limitations defining what you're willing to pay for each click your ad receives (CPC), or for each thousand impressions it receives (CPM). Keep in mind that you'll need to make a competitive bid to have your campaign be seen in any significant volume.
