No more excuses!

I Hate exercise! I know I need to do it, I know I would feel better if I did it (so they tell me), I know I may even enjoy it. So why don't I want to do it? I am lazy, I'm lazy, there is no other reason. I work at a hospital that has a great fitness center with everything from personal trainers to massages and through employee benefit I am a member. So after being a member for several months now and only being a shadow in the corner a few times, it hit me a week ago that I am tired of wieghing 227 pounds. I am 5'10' and 227 pounds. I am embarrassed to admit this, I AM FAT! But what makes me ok with it, is the fact that this will be the last time I will weigh this much. I am going to try to get to the gym at least 3 day week and eat better, healthier, and drink water (which I don't like). Wish me luck, this is it, my life is about to change! (i hope!)

I want to wish you luck. You´re gonna do just fine! And it´s true, there isn´t only a gym to exercise. Playing with the kids, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, park your car some further and not near the exit,... Only the gym get´s bored after a while. And drinking water is very important, so you gotta pratice ;-). I would say, good luck and go for it!

If you love working in your yard, you _do_ love exercise! Any kind of movement counts including playing with your kids and gardening. Exercise doesn't have to be activities that are hateful and boring to you. Make sure your program includes kinds of movement that you like. Good luck!
