Maintaining a healthy and well balanced relationship is not as easy as one thinks as it takes work from both parties at all times. Once one person is doing more than the other, issues arise which can be avoided if one is truly willing to work at being happy. If you are in a happy relationship, give yourself credit for working hard to make your partner happy. You too can also benefit from some of the things mentioned below. The following is a list of 10 easy ways to make your partner happy.

1. Make sure you know what your partner likes to eat, where he/she likes to go and what they like to do when buying gifts and/or making plans in order to really make a great impression and make them happy.
2. Always make time to talk and have fun with your partner. Try going to the movies or engage into recreational activities you both love such as biking, canoeing, camping, boating etc.
3. Try spoiling your partner with things such as flowers, chocolate, romantic dinner, or even a weekend getaway. Spending time together provides an opportunity to bond and create memorable moments.
4. Try talking and avoid yelling as much as you can. Remember that respect is key to maintaining a healthy relationship at all times.
5. Plan a mental health day together and spend it getting pampered at a spa or simply at home cuddling.
6. Complement your partner as much as possible as this is a critical and extremely good habit to maintain.
7. Try spending time doing things your partner enjoys doing even if you do not. The key concept here is that you are willing to sacrifice your own needs and desires to meet the needs and desires of the other. This is also a great way to show your dedication to making him/her happy.
8. Always encourage your partner to take part of decision making when involving or impacting both parties. Whether your partner does care to or not, offer the option to let them know you consider and appreciate their input.
9. Try going out on dates no matter how much time you have been together. Be realistic and make sure you avoid canceling any plans as this will defeat the purpose.
10. Surprise your partner with a "special love reminder" such as love note, breakfast muffin, cup of coffee or a simple kiss everyday to remind your partner how much they mean to you.

Being able to work on improving your intimate relationship everyday will help a couple grow and stay healthy. This will also improve quality of your relationship together and as individuals contributing to a well balanced union. Hopefully this article will help bring happiness to your relationship.
