7 Healthy Tips to Make a Good Relationship Great

7 Healthy Tips to Make a Good Relationship Great

Do you want more from your relationship? Even though you’re happy, maybe you want to take it to the next level. Check out these 7 tips on how to make your good relationship great.

#1: Compliment Daily

Men love compliments as much as women do. The types of compliments men like are different, though. Compliment him on his physique. For example, “You look sexy today” or “Wow, you sure are bulking up at the gym!” You can also compliment him on the jobs he does around the house – men love that.

#2: Surprise Him Each Day

As you go through your day think of something you can do to make your man happy. If you know he likes Snickers candy bars, pick one up at the grocery store while you’re there. If you know he needs gas in his car, use it to run an errand instead of yours and fill it up.

#3: Encourage Him

Men look for motivation and encouragement from their partner. You can make him feel good by simply telling him that he’s doing a great job. If he’s thinking of doing something new in his life, such as starting a new company, tell him he can do anything he wants because he has the intelligence and skills to do it.

#4: Do Something Together

Couples who play together, stay together. Take an interest in your spouse’s activities. He will love that you are getting involved and he may just want to do the same with something you enjoy.

Another idea is to spice up your relationship by doing something new together. For example, you can take a cooking class together, learn how to paddle board, or something else that challenges and captivates both of you. The fun you’ll have learning and spending time together will bring back that special feeling you had when you first met.

#5: Be More Intimate

Couples who have healthy sex lives are much more satisfied with their relationships. Sex is more than just physical – it’s mental and emotional. It connects two people who love one another in a completely different way.

To take it a step further, try initiating it more. Men often feel as though they are bothering their partner when they ask for sex. When you initiate, it shows him you find him desirable and that can make both of you very happy in and outside the bedroom.

In between having sex, you can be intimate by kissing. A semi-long kiss goodbye before leaving for work or when coming home can really bring the two of you closer together.

#6: Connect on a Deeper Level

Men need to have a deep, intense emotional attraction with a woman to have a lasting, committed relationship with her. Spending quality time together discussing thoughts, feelings, hopes, and fears can help you connect with him on that deep level. This can help you both love each other more deeply, which will make you happier.

If you have a difficult time getting your guy to talk, try doing it while you’re engaging in an activity. Men have a much easier time communicating when their mind is on something else. As he becomes more comfortable talking, you’ll likely notice he will start talking more than engaging in the activity.

#7: Profess Your Love

Men react to love confessions much more than woman. Research has found it makes them happier in relationships. A simple, “I love you” each day can do so much. Even though life can get busy, being able to take a couple of seconds to remind him you love him will make a difference in your relationship.

Improving your relationship doesn’t take a lot of work. It just takes a little mindfulness on what you can do to make your partner happy. Usually, when one person in the relationship is taking steps to making the relationship great, the other will follow.
