Sent 15 employees home from the office to "work at home" permanently and never looked back. Even when the kids are too noisy I just put on my Bose noise canceling headphones and I'm in my own world. When I need to get out, I jump in my jeep, drive around and make phone calls in total privacy. I call them "field trips." I love it... never going back to an office.

Trying to go after the All American Dream and that is to work out of my Allentown Pa Home doing Massage Therapy. At present i am fighting with the Allentown Pa Zoning board on this issue They are not for this and are fully against me performing massages at my home address. I believe they think i am up to no good. Note I have three large rooms on the first floor just waiting for this business to start and in 2006 The City of Allentown gave me a business license for my home address, I was told by them i could perform all my business at this address except Hands on massage therapy. On September 17th, 2013 the Zoning board gave me a hearing for this zoning only to tell me it was a personal service and not a medical service so no massage business zoning would be granted for my address. Note 80 % of all my clients who want massage are medical massage based.. Now I am waiting for my reasons denial letter from the zoning board for i can appeal their opinion decision and hopefully a zoning lawyer can help me appeal this!

Began working at home when I found my ideal job, which all relates to a healthy lifestyle and taking personal responsibility for my well being. Loved it so much I became a holistic health practitioner.

I like working from and have a tremendous business venture that I did in the past. I would like to start this back up and get it to the point that I could franchise it to disabled people so that they too could earn an excellent living from home.

I have been doing home-based businesses for 10 years and I was never successful at any of them. I don't like working for a boss because I can't stand to let someone else have that much control over my life. I finally found a team and opportunity that not only helped me become successful but they have helped me to become more health conscious and now I am losing weight, recycling and I have begun to convert my home to become totally green. I love what I do and I am so thankful to have found them.

I just quit a well-paying job. I had to move to the city (yuck) to take the job, away from my homestead. I did it for 2 years and my blood pressure went up. When the work environment became too hostile for me to tolerate, I quit.\n\nNow I'm home again, building my business. It's a scary proposition but I'm much calmer, and I'm sure my blood pressure will reflect that. Once I get through the "salad" start-up days, I'm sure it'll pay off as well.

I would like to find a legit job I can do from home. Too many scams and too much money. Would like to find something real.

I guess since all my kids have moved out of the house, and its just my husband, my dogs and cats, i have more time to devote to working from home. The only thing that stops me is that we just bought a new house and we're still fixing it up. But, i do want to do this once life is normal in our new home. I don't know what kind of work you do from home. Any idea's?
