Get in the greatest shape of my life - All Thoughts

Posted by Antonio C. Fernando, DC
Food for thought: You can have 80% Liver Failure before you know you have liver failure. Food for thought: If you unplug the "Check Engine Light" on your car dashboard, does it mean your car's engine is ok? Food for thought: The first symptom of a heart attack is... a heart attack. True Wellness is prophylatic in nature. It's anticipatory. It is not Crisis Management. The true nature of Medical Care is "Crisis Management". Once the "crisis" is over, Wellness Care must take over. Most people live their lives in a Crisis Management Mode. Once they are "saved" from their crisis event (think heart failure), they are left on their own to "clean up the mess" that Crisis Management (Medical Care) left behind (think effects of a tornado on your house. Then think if you have no home insurance). Food for though: Every cell in every organ of your body is forever changed by the effects of "crisis management". Food for thought: Everyone needs a Wellness Coach!

I have a plan to work toward getting in the best shape I can. I am taking aquatic therapy to strengthen body, relieve pain and muscle spasm. I use a wheelchair. I also plan to return to Qigong.

I see this as a continuing goal. So it might more specifically read "Be in the greatest shape I can be for this time in my life"

The Best Shape of Your Life, that sounds so appealing, especially for the more mature wellness seekers. I think to be in the best shape of your life, involves balance between attitude, service and exercise.\n\nI work with a personal trainer and was actually disappointed and did not see the results that I wanted to. \n\nI am now trying a different approach.

I work with a certified personal trainer 4 days a week. I have lost 35 lbs through workouts alone. I dont eat fanatically, i suppose I should. I work too hard for less than maximum results. My trainer states he can't make me eat right, i have to do that. He's right.

I just signed up for this 1 week ago. I realize that I will not log in and do all the things they suggest, but it is nice to see that I can be held accountable.

My body belongs to me I am the one that fuels, adores it, holds it in high regard, renews the energy , and reclaims my power.
