Being happy is a must.

For a while now, I've been unhappy, depressed and confused. I've been in an 8 year relationship and we have a child together. I feel like I'm only staying with my boyfriend to keep us as a family but everytime I think about breaking things off I get feelings of guilt...I have no idea why! I guess I feel like I'm abandoning my family and giving up just like that. But I want to be happy again. I want to be worry free, content with my life and everyone in it. What do I do?

Not enough space here what it is and how one feels etc. etc. Asking thousands of people this question, you will get many varied answers since every person has a different interpretation, wish or feeling on this subject which is based on very many factors such as ethnic origin, educational background, age, gender, marital status, family influences, religion, philosophical outlook and - - on and on. Have to get to supper now will get back on the subject another day.

I believe happiness is all about attitude. A wise man said, "Attitude to me, is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It will make or break a company-a church- or a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace that day. We cannot change the past. We can not change the fact that people will act a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you- we are in charge of our attitude." Dr. Bob Smith

Happiness can be yours once you learn that it is only a brief pursuit and then it is yours forever. People are either happy people or unhappy people. Happiness is a philosophy you can adopt right now and a state of mind you can enjoy today - only to be temporarilly effected by conditions and circumstances. Happiness can be yours (and should be) most of the time.
