What are the Benefits of Kids Training Judo

As a parent looks for activities for their children to do, they must determine the important things they want for their children such as values, exercise, fun and life-long skills. Once they determine what they would like to teach their children, the next need to find an activity that complements this. Thousands of parents around the Wisconsin have found the activity that is best is Martial Arts (Judo in specific).

Judo Martial Arts have a wide variety of benefits for children. In our Judo Kids Martial Arts at my academy, Our childrens program is specifically geared towards children ages 4-14, as this is the essential age range to begin building those lifelong skills and characteristics that will ensure a child's success.

Additionally, our goal is to create a family-friendly atmosphere. Enroll in a program where the whole family can train and have fun together, all the while building positive, life-changing characteristics and leadership skills. Families will learn how to stand proud together, improve self-confidence, empower each other and learn valuable self-defense skills.


The positive effects of our kids program are astounding. Our kids judo martial arts students experience increased self-esteem and confidence, better concentration, improved manners and respect, fitness and self-defense.

Baseball teaches kids concentration and exercises, soccer build endurance, but no other activity gives your child as many mental and physical benefits as Martial Arts. The response I give to any critics is, "Try it and see." Most martial arts academies, at least in the Wisconsin area, will give some type of a free trial. This will give you a true test of if it's a good fit for you and your kids.
