"Spiritual healing only comes when we look at others with compassion, understanding and love; regardless of other's religion, color race ethnicity, gender, nationality and religion."
Above quote is of a great Indian (Bengali) polymath, Rabindranath Tagore.
Lately I have been reading with great interest Dr Syed shahid blog "hate and religion". I am doing a thesis on Anthropology of religion and his thesis on "hate and religion" will be great help.
Growing up in Northern part of India ( Jammu and Kashmir , where all the political turmoil between Hindus and Muslims is going on for the last 60 years), was an experience in itself. I am now studying Anthropology of Religions in Richmond, Virginia. It gave me an inspiration to learn why people from different back grounds (especially from different religions) hate each other.
I believe we must respect all human beings and their religions if we have to live in harmony and peace in this world.
