Dr Spurlock is the Best of the Best!!!!! I have been going to him for years now and always recommend him to others, especially if you have a complicated situation. He has a big heart and he listens very well. I trust his direction for my healthcare. He will take the time that is needed for you. He will put your needs first. He is absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Spurlock didn't respond to an email I sent with concerns I had under the treatment of his nurse practitioner, Roxana Cocos. The main issue was in her treatment of my hypothyroidism. I had always had a negative reaction to thyroid medications. She prescribed a different type of medication. When I reported the exact same reaction, she was adamant that the medication was not causing the reaction. Even though the reaction started immediately after I began the medication and went away a few days after I quit taking it. She maintained that stand for 3 months and did nothing during that time to uncover WHY I was having that reaction. That is what medical practitioners are supposed to do and what I paid almost $1,000 for. I switched to another doctor who knew immediately why I was having that reaction and now I can finally be treated. Dr. Spurlock made a decision not to contact me to resolve my health issues or even respond to my email. Both of which are inexcusable.

Doctor Spurlock was the first one to believe me. I spent years having doctors tell me my issues were just in my head. Dr. Spurlock not only listened to me and helped me!

I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and hypothyroidism. While being treated by Dr Spurlock I had no lasting improvement and did not feel right. Later, I switched to an endocrinologist and found that the strange feeling went away. She told me the amount of T3 I was on was much too high and could cause cardiovascular damage. Dr Spurlock is very expensive and I believe my time under his care was damaging to my health.
