I have been seeing Dr. Olson since 2002 and can say that he not only gave me some semblance of a normal life back but literally saved my life! I could not deal with the amount of pain I had been suffering and was very close to checking out PERMENTLY. I just hurt so bad. I needed to escape the agony. Thank you Dr. Olson and staff.

I drive for at least 4 hours (rt) and feel so grateful that I am able to be under the care of a responsible, caring, health conscious, hard ass when he needs to be (he hates cigarettes and I am still a smoker) and I darn well deserve it. I have reduced my pain medication significantly and am desiring a path to non-narcotic methods for the reduction of pain. I don't think Dr. Olson or staff is perfect. No one is. They come pretty close. If you are suffering from pain and are in need of a doctor who will prescribe in a thoughtful yet appropriate manner, you would be lucky to be their patient. All the staff is respectful, efficient, helpful and friendly. Plus, if you are a dog lover like me, then he scores high points!

Dr.Olson and Joanna are the best! They not only saved my life, but gave me my life back! I’ve been a patient for almost 10 years and they are truly like family to me. I can not recommend this office more! It’s worth the wait to get in for your initial appointment!!! Love these guys so much!!!!

Doctor saved my life; after years of dealing with VA's pain program and being let down time and again, I went here. He doesn't just throw drugs at me either, VA takes 3 months to get a back shot, he can do it in 3 days, maybe less. Critical when you experience pain like I have. With respect to meds, my pain is under control and I'm not hostage to it anymore, yet I'm not over-medicated. He didn't turn me into a junky and I don't abuse my meds and I've been going here for years now. He does his job. Right.

If you are a junky seeking drugs, you have no place here (unless seeking treatment, I think he does do that). You WILL be found out, they are compassionate, not stupid, and take an active approach to drug diversion and doctor shopping --they maintain a relationship with all your other doctors too. They won't give you drugs either unless you have proof you need them, a boo-boo won't cut it. I don't consider Dr. Olson a first stop for pain management, moreover, he's a doctor best suited to intervene when other options fail. I doubt there are other doctors as well versed in his field of study in the area.

But for serious pain patients, patients let down via other avenues, Dr. Olson and his team (which are stellar too BTW) can help. I still have bad days, but thanks to Dr. Olson and team I have days good enough I function and do some of the things I enjoy.
