Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose to pursue a career in psychology because I wanted to be able to use my listening and problem-solving skills and empathy to help others. What I want my patients to know about me: I obtained my doctoral degree in psychology in 1990. I've been licensed to practice psychology in Pennsylvania since 1997, and have lived in south central Pennsylvania for over two decades. I have worked as a psychologist for WellSpan since 2000, and serve as the administrative supervisor of the psychotherapists at the Gettysburg office of WellSpan Philhaven. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: I like to go to movies and watch favorite TV shows, try new foods and restaurants, and go to classic rock concerts.
