Has anyone thought of where the "food groups" came from? I think 2 need to be off the list, bread and to a lesser extent, dairy. I have been reading some of the Primal/Paleo blogs and books and they make a good case for these 2 groups just being a big mistake. People evolved for a very long time without the bread and dairy groups. These are only part of recent history. Maybe we should think about what nature sorted out for us and fix the mistake!
