I have had TMJ for years now. I work full time and have kids. I don't really have time anymore to deal with the pain in my neck and migraines associated with this TMJ anymore. I've tried accupuncture, physical therapy, chiro, and braces. Now I'm 35 and it hurts to smile, go to dentist, laugh too much, etc....I am on Ultram 3x a day for the pain. I've been on it for 10 years. The muscle relaxers and bite guards don't help long term. I take Vicodin when I can get it. I usually take a half in the morning and a half at bedtime. For some reason, no one wants to prescribe it for this long term. I only would be looking to take 1-2 a day. Does anyone know of any other ideas or doctors that would prescribe Vicodin for this? It's all that seems to help. I'm in Connecticut.
