In this present day and age, toxins and heavy metals are rampant in our environment. From polluted ocean waters to polluted ground waters, aluminum refineries, car exhaust, pesticides, industrial wastes (please see the movie "Manufactured Landscapes"), our environment is now filled with more toxic heavy metals than ever before.
From Lead to Mercury, Cadmium, Aluminum, Nickel and Copper, our bodies being are constantly overloaded with higher amounts of heavy metals than any other generation in human history.
This increase in environmental toxicity can have extreme negative impacts on our health and can contribute to many chronic and untreatable 'autoimmune conditions'. The toxic effects of heavy metals in our water, food and environment cause stronger reactions in some people more than others.
This is due to the varying strength of each person's adrenal glands. Our Adrenals are responsible for creating almost all of the energy needed to carry out all of our biological processes, including the excretion of toxins and heavy metals.
When our adrenals become fatigued due to overworking, lack of dietary nutrition, stress and emotional disturbances, this causes a severe drop in our Sodium levels.
In order to maintain proper Sodium levels, our body will crave a "stress reaction" which will temporarily boost our levels of Sodium and give us the sense of increased energy.
"Stress reactions" can be caused by anything stimulating: stimulants such as caffeine, sugar, chocolate, anger, extreme excitement, driving in traffic, etc. Any toxin is stimulating to the adrenals because it requires a reaction from the adrenals to combat the toxic effects of the toxin.
Alcohol, nicotine, food additives, heavy metals, EMF's (electro-magnetic fields), household cleaners, pain killers and any other toxic substance actually stimulates the adrenals in order to give you a false sense of increased energy.
This stimulation is actually weakening the Adrenals since it is requiring the adrenals to work, work, work and never get the rest that they need to recharge. At this point, Heavy Metals will have begun to accumulate in the tissues as the adrenals are overcome by too many "stress reactions" occurring constantly. These Toxic Heavy Metals are now continuing to stimulate the Adrenals due to their toxic nature, so that you are now stuck in a constant cycle of a "stress reaction".
You need your Adrenals to rest and recharge in order to get rid of the Heavy Metals, but now the toxic heavy metals are not allowing the Adrenals to rest.
The nervous system becomes more and more agitated by the stimulating effects of Copper, Cadmium, Aluminum, Mercury, Iron as they accumulate more and more in the Soft tissues: muscles, nerves, skin, ligaments, cartilage and hair.
Hair Analysis is the most accurate way to assess adrenal strength and activity, nutritional deficiencies, Heavy metal toxicity, and can help pinpoint an exact supplement program to balance your tissue minerals, normalize your nervous system and metabolic rate, allowing your adrenals to rest and recover so that they can gain enough strength to naturally excrete the heavy metals.
