out of network

We as health care providers must take back the practice of medicine. We can no longer let insurance companies choose the price and care we give. If all of us got out of network with these insuance companies we would have to make a diff. By making our services affordable and start teaching that their health is directly proportionate to the choices they make. Too often people are herded via the system told exactly what drugs to take, what doctor to see? Where is the patient responsibitly? People who follow the chemical treatments become slaves to drug companies and way worse off. Taking the 10+ pills a day benefits noone except big corporations and does not equal a great quality of life. Insurance people telling us how many treatments we can give, which drug to take- these people making decisions have never even met the person. The best approach usually follows a thorough physical examination and some thought about the case. I assure you someone with no education of the human body and how it works that sits at a desk crunching numbers is not the best decision maker. In my office I submit insurance for patients and let them chase the money. If we don't open peoples eyes to how backwards the system is - it's going to take a long time to create permanent change. We have to demand better. It's inaguration day- let's make change that will make this country better.
