Becca's Blog

Recently, I have been sitting at the computer for several hours a day finishing a writing project and find myself complaining about the same symptoms that so many my clients bring up in my office. Annoying as it is, I find it extremely helpful to know exactly what they're experiencing and why! It's all about the chair, the position of your body, the relationship between your chair and your desk, and the long hours with lack of movement. When I follow the same advice I offer to my clients, things quickly feel better in my neck and shoulders and low back. It is affirming that therapeutic neuromuscular massage work and positional releases really do make a positive difference in relieving pain caused by postural situations and repetitive injuries. I just have to remember to take my own advice!!
