I can't do it!

Who comes to the gym with this thought..." I can't do it".  Whether you are lifting running on the treadmill or throwing yourself into a burpee, its all in your head! Also if you even know what a burpee is than you're doing great:) Many times my clients say with a look of dread on their face, " I can't do it!"  It's actually quite funny, because as they are saying this, they are attempting to do the very thing they think they cannot do.  When it comes down to it, many things that seem impossible are really just the story line in your head.  I never in a million bazillion years thought I would do a figure bodybuilding show.  But I did, and then I did another.  It was intense training, hardcore dieting, and I had to parade around in a bikini in stilletos on stage, while looking effortless! I don't wear heels let alone those high tower things!! But I did it, I stared the fear in the face and said, " I'm doing this!"  Sure, I was apprehensive, especially when I saw my competition.  But, I had to go forward.  I walked through the gym several times a week to train, to build, and to sculpt.  What it comes down to is you feeling good about YOU...not anyone else. The little voice inside your head was the old story, you believed, and then you got tired of that talk... now it's time to stare the " I can't do it" in the face and say, " I'm doing this, I can do this!!"  One change of thought can make you healthier, happier, more productive, and a whole lot more confident.  So don't let a little voice tell YOU what to do...YOU tell the voice what you're about to do.." I'm doing this!!"

Be well, and get fit
