Located in the heart of the San Ramon Valley, just a quick jaunt from San Francisco, is a great little town called Danville. Peaceful, scenic and full of great American west history (for those who don't know me, I'm a big history geek!) A perfect place to slip away from the city for a meal and even take in some fun shopping, parks and museums. Located in super cute downtown Danville, Chow is a must...

It's time to say goodbye to summer and hello to school, busy schedules, turning leaves and chilly weather. While fall is fabulous, summer is the most relaxing season, one we all tend to feel blue about bidding fond farewell to. But since we'll have to be squeezing into long pants soon, it's a smart idea to not go too crazy this last weekend of summer. Sure, let loose and have a great time but try these...

Located near the majestic Monterrey Bay, you'll find Aptos. A great little seaside town, sandwiched by beautiful beaches and pine lined mountains, Aptos is a close home to many agricultural farms and businesses. The wonderful folks of Driscoll's invited me up to Aptos for a fun-filled yet educational adventure. While having always been a fan of Driscoll's incredible berries, I fell more in love with...

I was stoked to see the great variety of healthy, vegan and gluten free places to dine in and around Phoenix and I know you will too!! My biggest excitement comes from Green Vegetarian....

Continuing on a mini-road trip through Texas, I checked out Greune. Another German settlement from the mid-1800's, Greune boasts some real history and buildings that still stand from the time, housing full fledged businesses. One of which is Greune Hall that you may recognize from some big Hollywood films! Along with the entertainment, history and shopping, you'll find some good eats for all sorts...

Last time I was in Texas, I got the chance to do a tiny bit of road tripping and I stumbled upon New Braunfels. Just outside of San Antonio in Texas Hill Country, this quaint town was settled by German immigrants in the mid-1800′s. With some real American history that can still be seen in parts of downtown, New Braunfels is best known for being the home of Schlitterbahn, a killer water park complete...

Such a great Texas city that combines the hip and cool with great southern charm, check out some other fantastic places to visit when in Austin! I'll begin with an Austin staple. An eatery that serves breakfast 24 hours a day and caters to veg heads, gluten...
