Mikey is extraordinarily knowledgeable, supportive and caring. He is exceptional at helping me find solutions for my issues and giving me the tools necessary to overcome my problems.

Mickey is my go-to person for not only family issues but for referrals. He talks straight, tells the truth, and is a kind and gentle soul. I would trust any issues relating to addictions to him as he has not only personal experience but extensive training and professional experience. Anyone who complains about him has some problem that the person did not wish to face.

Known him for years and the above review seems a little harsh.... but.... pretty accurate and mostly true.

Michael Bickers AKA “Mickey” is a narcissistic self indulgent egocentric Pavlov on Viagra. During my sessions with him, he continually talked about himself while dropping the Fbomb at least 5 times a session. Mickey’s testimony of his drunken escapades, being in and out of jail for felony drug trafficking convictions, sleeping with women, cocaine orgies with women from AA, and most recently in his life: sleeping with his then chiropractic girlfriend who he loved to brag about how she is about 20 yrs younger than him essentially characterizes Michael Bickers as a Charlie Sheen geriatric with a license to therapy. To top it off, Mickey loves to portray himself as the victim, between his family constantly trying to pump money out of him for support, and a recent $50,000 gold broker deal gone bad, who he fantasizes killing by launching a RPG from his townhouse into the broker’s sky-rise condo. Furthermore, is difficult to work with. His absurd $175 fees per session (which he refuses to take any insurance) to support his decadent Rolex collection, traditional old world French styled office, gambling habit on the golf course, and his morning only schedule for his sessions so that he will be on time to his golf tee-off times, he is quite selfish. If you are court ordered from the Dallas Family Courts to meet with him, Godspeed! As long as you meet his demands of meeting with him 2-3 per month ($350-$525 a month per his rate) he dangles a carrot stick in front of your face, that if he is called into court on your behalf, he will testify favorably for you. Personally I think Mickey should be reprimanded by the State Board for ethic violations, and bribery— and that is exactly what recourse I intend to do.
