After being treated by Hedy Chen L.AC., for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome this past summer, I no longer have tingling in my hand. She kept me from considering surgery. Most importantly to me, my Plantar Fasciitis in my left heal is now under control. In June I could hardly walk without pain. Now in September, I am back on the tennis court and walking daily. My insurance also helps to cover these treatments which , as a retired person, I so appreciate. Thank you Hedi!

Hedy has provided the most professional care one could ask for. Her interest in her patient's history and progress from appointment to appointment is something you often don't find with your primary doctor.
She has kept me off the operating table by stabilizing my back and leg pain. The Chinese Medicine she prepared for me has also relieved my problems with digestion and constipation. She has so many valuable
suggestions to help me continue to have quality health. Her office is
clean and orderly. I am so grateful I found her. She is so knowledgeable about her profession and is rated a five star for me!

I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. They always return my phone calls quickly. I know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question every time I call. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.

I waited after a month to give an honest and reliable review. I have a Master of Science degree and I always believed in traditional medicine, until now. I have suffered from hip, lower back and tingling of the fingers for a few years. I ve visited an internist, neurologist, physical therapist, chiropractor and finally a neurosurgeon. No one helped and I refused to have surgery. I had seen an Accupunturist in California and got relief from my sore shoulder and decided now that I live in Georgetown I would make an appointment with Hedy Chen. She is amazing! My hip is healed, my back is getting better. I also am taking Chinese herbs which help with sleeping, HOT flashes, and mood swings. NO HRT for me! Thank you Hedy Chen!!!!

Before moving to Georgetown, I had been having acupuncture treatments that I considered to be outstanding for at least six years. I am a firm believer in the benefits of acupuncture for my overall health so was very anxious to find a practitioner here in Georgetown. I have been going to Hedy for over a year now and can only sing her praises. She has exceeded my expectations in all areas of my treatments. First of all, the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic is very inviting and each room is very neat, tidy and clean. Hedy is very professional at all times. It is easy to see that acupuncture and Chinese medicine are her passion. I am continually amazed at her knowledge and wisdom. She listens very carefully to my voiced concerns and also to what my body tells her. In each session my body's needs are addressed and I am able to relax and rest quietly. During this time, Hedy is carefully preparing the herbs that I will need to further the success of my treatment. Each formula of herbs is based on that day's treatment session. I did not have the herbal formulas before coming to Hedy and I truly believe they have taken my acupuncture experience to a higher level and have brought more healing to my body. I have suffered sleep talk for years and I can finally say both my husband and I are sleeping much better thanks to Hedy. As I get older I have also developed arthritis in my knees and Hedy's treatments have made them feel much better. I have not had a cold, a sinus infection or the flu ( I do not get the flu shot) in years. I attribute my health to the knowledge and traditional Chinese training that Hedy uses in her practice. I highly recommend Hedy to everyone who has health problems but also to those that do not have any. I believe Hedy's treatments will only make your body healthier and stronger.
