It was a great experience at Kindred. I have to give kudos to the nurses that they have working there. All the nurses have been very helpful in looking after me during my time their. I don't recall their names but I just remember the kindness and warmth. The physical therapy program has been a very good experience. The therapist were very motivating in my rehab. I'm not 100% at this time but I did appreciate them helping me. Thank you Ken for helping me to understand my breathing habits and explaining how to control my breathing. Thank you for all your kindness and your support.

Just to let others know I actually never heard of kindred before. I was referred there by Baylor medical. However the overall service and care that I received has been outstanding. I surely would recommend others if given the chance. A five star for them.

I have been really, really lucky to have a great nursing team looking after me during my time at Kindred. It's not always easy admitting to a hospital that you've never been before and not really knowing what you going to be walking into. As this was my first admission to the hospital I have found the experience to be very pleasing. I haven't met one staff who was disrespectful and uncaring to me during my time their. I guess I might be one of the lucky individuals to have caring people looking after me or it might be a sign of great health care.

As a patient who had pneumonia, we know it's not a great experience. And I really appreciate the nurses, doctors, and the entire team for providing such great care and service. Also a round of applause to the physical therapy team for motivating me in my physical therapy program. It helps a lot especially when you are someone who stays alone and has to be independent once you get discharged. Before I end my story I like to let everybody know that there is a nurse who works during the night by the name of Gloria who has been such a terrific nurse. I understand she travels a long distance to get to work and to look after people such as myself. God bless her for her kindness and are helping hand to others in times of need. Without individual such as yourself the world wouldn't be such a great place.

First thing, the staff Ken, Tanya and Ron I love to pieces. They really lift me up when I'm down sometimes and they are always cheerful and their sense of humor is wonderful. Ken was the first staff member I met and he asked if I could walk up and down the hallway. He walked with me up and down about three times and that was very draining. Before I knew it I was walking up to 1 mile, then one and a half miles and now I'm up to 2 1/2 miles. They taught me breathing techniques that I can use at all times and when I'm short of breath. They also taught me how to cope with panic attacks. I have had issues with anxiety and had to take medication for it and this rehab has enabled me to cut down my medication to a minimal dose. I am very happy with the progress I have made. I am much more relaxed now than when I was when I first started. I have learned how to recognize and control my anxiety and I am now able to stop my panic attacks as soon as they start. Everything that they have taught me has helped me a great deal. One of the things that I like best about the staff is that they really listen to me and they keep me sane. They always give me the best advice and they know what they are talking about. They are very good at what they do and they are also very professional. The only thing I can recommend is some additional equipment. I love the Sci Fit exerciser and there is just one of that type of equipment.

I've been attending Kindred's pulmonary rehab program for about 4 weeks now and it has been a great experience. With only coming here for such a short period of time, I am now able to do some things hat I could not do before starting here. I am much more energetic and I can now open jars on my own with minimal effort. My stamina has greatly improved and I am up to walking 35 minutes on the treadmill. have also taught me how to perform other daily tasks which I used to have trouble with. I love therapists Ken and Tanya who have helped me to get to this point. I also want to recognize the business office staff who have been very helpful in getting me here. I can't say enough good things about everyone here and it has been a very lovely experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone in need of pulmonary rehab services.

I became knowledgeable of this program from my doctor who offered me this as an option to my pulmonary treatments. After coming in for my evaluation, I was better informed of what this program entailed and I decided that this would be something that would be very beneficial to me. I wanted to at least try it out. After the first couple of visits, I liked it and I enjoyed the people in my group. I also respected my therapists and believed it would benefit me greatly. To date, I have picked up many tips to make my life easier, I'm breathing better and I believe my stamina is much stronger. The pursed lip breathing techniques that I learned have benefitted me greatly. There are just a couple of things that I would like to recommend to improve the program. First of all, I think that there should be more equipment. I also would like to see a maintenance program that I can attend after completing this program. I think Ken and Tanya have been amazing and they are a great asset to the program. They are very caring in what they are trying to teach to help us improve our lifestyle.

I have been an outpatient at Kindred Fort Worth Southwest since July of 2015. My treatment started with hyperbaric therapy and was followed by wound care treatments until present. Due to the nature of my wound, the healing has been slow but very effective. I am very satisfied with the results and I love the staff that has been treating me. I cannot say enough good things about them and they have always treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. I think Dr. Werner is the greatest and he has very good bedside manner. Due to the successful treatment that I have received, I would highly recommend Kindred Fort Worth Southwest to anybody that is in need of wound care services.

I have been a patient at Kindred Hospital Southwest many times. That's why I keep going back. I always feel confident that I'm in the best of hands I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism and respect from each and everyone. My nurses Amy, Yidah, Sha, and Lila are just a few that provide awesome patient care. Also the staff in wound care is pretty awesome too. Dr. Allen and Dr Shashi are two of the best doctors. They provided me with very clear and thorough explanations of what my care plan would be. The lady with the gray hair(Virginia) made sure that my room was clean and it was a pleasure talking to her. She really knows how to clean. Also, with the ambassador program they have, it's a nice touch because you see them everyday, they spend time talking and making sure everything is going well. If not, they act quickly on it and resolve it the same day. I have had the pleasure of the same ambassador twice (Sandy). The respiratory team took time to explain how the bipap machine works and reassured me that it would be ok. I have claustrophobia and if they had walked away I would have just taken off the mask but they didn't. They stayed there until I felt comfortable.
This is why Kindred SW is my choice of hospitals!

I would like to give this staff of Kindred Ft. Worth Southwest 10 stars for the excellent care that they gave to my husband Jerry Bockman. David Dunford and Rob Richards have done a great job. Rob is the nurse manager and he helped me clean up my husband without being asked. As an RN for many years, I can say that this staff goes above and beyond the norm. David in radiology particularly took a personal interest in ensuring that my husbands care was above par. This is not to diminish the care provided to my husband by all the other team members who are too many to mention. Thank you Dr. Bazir and for everyone that kept me consistently informed of my husbands progress. When he came in, he was almost unresponsive and now he is eating, smiling and conversing. I would not hesitate to recommend Kindred SW to anyone in need of healthcare services.

I've been a pulmonary rehab outpatient for the last 3 months at Kindred Fort Worth Southwest. I am very pleased with the one on one attention from Ken, Tanya and the rest of the team. They are a very thoughtful and caring group. Prior to beginning the program, I had pretty much given up on getting better and resolved that this was my last chance. The change has been remarkable. I was a bowler for many years and I had to quit because of my pulmonary condition. Bowling became very difficult for me and I became out of breath when throwing just one ball. I can now tolerate bowling three games with very little difficulty. When I would go grocery shopping, I would have to use the motorized cart every time. I can now use the push cart with ease and with very little shortness of breath. I never thought that I could be at this level of mobility again. They also set me up with a NIOV machine that really helps me when I have a lot of physical activity. Thanks to this pulmonary rehab program, I now have a much better outlook on my future. A big thank you to everyone at Kindred Ft. Worth Southwest!

I've been attending the Pulmonary Rehab program at Kindred Ft. Worth Southwest since the 6th of September and I think that this program has really helped me a lot. Prior to this, I had many days where it was difficult to breathe and I found myself using my rescue inhaler more often. My pulmonologist Dr. Maldonado recommended this program because I was not doing so well on my breathing tests and he thought that this would really help me. Since attending, my stamina has improved and I've learned to breathe correctly considering my condition. I've learned to cope with my episodes of shortness of breath. Ken and Tanya have been great! They are very helpful, personable and they make exercising enjoyable. I am very impressed with the facility as it is very clean, bright and welcoming. The receptionist Nikki at the front desk is also very friendly and helpful.
