The environment at Kindred is friendly, helpful, and compassionate. There are many staff members that my family and I like it call "shining stars". The reason we call them "shining stars" is because caring, compassionate, selfless, and giving. They go out of their way to make us feel comfortable during our stay here. No matter how big or small the request, question, or concern is they address it willing with an open heart and mind. They are Tiffany, Patient Rep, Janet, unit secretary, Aretha, Tess, LVN, Vilma, CNA, Evelyn, CNA, Netta, CNA, Gabriel, CNA, Adam, PT, Lloyd, PT, Lana, OT, and all of the rehab department are exceptional. The physicians are great especially Dr. Weinraub, Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Winters, Dr. Grabie, Dr. Leitner, Dr. Deustch, Dr. Meltzer, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Carol. They are very knowledgeable and informative. Kindred has the best free coffee. No matter what time of the day it is delicious! This our 3rd hospital, and Adam and Lana are the best by far!!! I don't have right words to express how wonderful they are from all angles. Their approach, technique, and skills set is unbelievable!!! They are the reason my daughter will be returning home instead of acute rehab. We are beyond thankful for the care my daughter has received.

Let's just say that I feel communication is one of the key components in healthcare, and I was impressed right away with Kindred. Upon admission of my mother, my brother was present, and met with everyone. I mean he received a update from the nurses, respiratory therapist, and patient representative. He received all of this valuable information which helped him have a better understanding of our mother's treatment plan and condition. My brother called and updated me. We both agreed that Kindred was the perfect place for our mother. Later that day, I came to visit my mother, and was surprised that the respiratory therapist, Steven, explained everything to me without me asking. He made sure I understood the plan, and answered my questions appropriately. Then, Tiffany (the patient relations representative) met with me. She spent over a hour with me explaining everything from discharge planning, free coffee, contact information (including directors, administration, and physicians), wound care, pressure ulcer prevention, vital signs, recent labs, to dietary. She answered and addressed any questions and concerns I had before I had a chance to even ask them. By the time I left her office, I knew everything I needed to know and more. Then, she introduced me to my mother's physician, Dr. Hourani, and he discussed the treatment plan with my brother and me. He was very helpful as well, and has great bedside manners. We love Kindred, and the way the staff care for our mother. We are very thankful that our mother is here because we know she is getting the best care!!!

This is the second time my mother has been a patient at Kindred Hospital. After the first admission, I thought to myself that it couldn't get any better. Well, I was wrong. This admission has been even better! The nursing teams that my mother has had have been exceptional! The nursing assistants are awesome especially Netta, CNA, Kim, CNA, Sadie, CNA, Goria, CNA, and Stacy, CNA. The physicians are wonderful. They ensure my mother is getting the best treatment, and make sure I know the treatment plan. Dr. Banafshe, Dr. Richards, and Dr. Nouri are the sweetest, and truly care about my mother. The patient relations representative, Tiffany, is phenomenal! She treats everyone like family, and is the world's best advocate! She addresses any questions and concerns that I may have, and continuously checks on us. The wound care team are amazing. They are by far the best wound care team that we have ever met. My mother has made significant improvements thanks to the staff at Kindred!

Overall Kindred is a wonderful hospital! My mother is currently a patient there, and is receiving the best care! My mother's attending physician, Dr. Weintraub, is great. He rounds consistently everyday, takes time to accurately assess my mother, and continuously gives me updates. He and the other physicians including Dr. Kennedy make time to answer any questions and concerns that I may have about my mother's condition. They ensure that I understand the treatment plan, and make me feel confident in the care being provided to my mother. The receptionist at the front desk, Jennifer, is heaven sent. The first time I came to Kindred I almost got lost, however, she stayed on the phone with me the entire time to ensure that I made it. Once I arrived at Kindred, I was happy to see that everyone was so friendly and the environment is very clean. The Patient Relations Representative, Tiffany, is amazing. She explained everything I needed to know about Kindred, gave me a contact list with the administration and physicians contact numbers, educated me about pressure ulcer prevention, oriented me to Kindred and the free coffee, etc. She made me feel very comfortable with my mother being at Kindred, and now I love the fact that my mother is able to be there. Oh, and any place that serves hot coffee 24 hours a day has got it figured out... Just another plus!

My friend is a patient at Kindred Hospital. I cannot explain or rave enough about the wonderful care she is receiving. I am beyond thankful for the superior staff including RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Respiratory therapists, house keeping, secretaries, and administration. Everyone has been spectacular! Kimberly, CNA is outstanding. She has gone above and beyond for my friend. After she finished providing her care, my friend looked and felt like she just left the spa. Oscar, CNA is wonderful. He is very consistent, and provides excellent care. I am very confident in the care being provided to my friend by all of the staff. The kindred environment is friendly, clean, and odorless. The wound care department has been wonderful. They explain the skin assessment in a way that I understand. The Patient Representative, Tiffany, has been absolutely wonderful. She is one of the first people we met, and continues to provide support. She is comforting, assuring, and caring. I recommend Kindred to everyone!

I have been a patient at Kindred a few times, and each time as been a great experience. The Kindred staff make me feel like family. My favorite staff members are Tiffany (the patient advocate) and Vivian (the social worker). They are both exceptional and truly one of a kind. They never forget me, and always welcome me back with smiles. And just like myself, they are truly unforgettable! They both are always willing to help me regardless of the situation, and lift me up any time I'm feeling down. Dr. Carol is wonderful, and has patience like no other. She is so sweet, and always shows me the bright side of things. Dr. Hourani has great bedside manners, and treats me like family. Also, he know how to treat and manage my health problems better than any other doctor. I am thankful that when I have to be in the hospital Kindred accepts me because it is truly the best of the best!

I am so happy to be at Kindred! Everyone here including the nurses, respiratory therapist, environmental services, doctors, administration, and many others are so friendly. The hospital is clean, pleasant, and odor free. The food is the best of any other hospital I've been to thus far, and I especially love the menu option. I recommend Kindred to anyone looking for transitional care. You are guaranteed to receive excellent care. I love Kindred and can't say enough about how awesome it is!

I am beyond thankful to be a patient at Kindred especially because I get the best care from Dr. Lonky. I have been sick for years, and have seen multiple doctors. I had begin to lose hope in not only the healthcare system but in myself. Now, I have Dr. Lonky assigned to my case, and my outlook has changed! I have HOPE again. He not only manages my medications, but educates me about them. I feel confident in the care being provided to me because I know he has my best interest at heart.
