Be aware when you think you come to see a specialist you will see a resident in training, very unprofessional.
Resident was arrogant, his documentation did not reflect anything I informed him of.
Very disappointed; my own vet has more experience than the resident.
Go someplace else!

Having taken many of my herpes (reptiles) to Iowa State Vet Clinic, I must be honest with how I feel about the service. The times that I took one of my reptiles that had a life threatening condition such as egg binding, I felt that there was little interest if not outright refusal to do what was necessary, to help save their lives. Many of these conditions could have been treated successfully by other experienced Reptile vets, In retrospect, I believe that in such conditions, the emphasis is more on gaining dissection specimens for the school rather than offering life saving care. I will never take another reptile back to iowa State I honestly would not recommend them. I feel If anybody has the right state this cold, hard fact, it would be me. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars there over a period of two years.

A very huge thank you to everyone that saved my parents keeshond Maxie ,everyone involved you saved her life we has a family can never say thank you enough she a precious part of all our lives and family and we are forever grateful for everyone for saving Maxie's life. God Bless everyone that was involved with Maxie Clarkson,because of everyone Maxie is cancer free.

This is the worst place I ever saw. They only want your money, and they will not help your pet if they have a serious issue. I can do a better guessing job than they can. I had to have my dog put down a few days after taking him here. it cost around $5000 to not have anything done about his issue.

Excellent treatment for my Lab's broke canine tooth. Did a root canal for cap later. Thorough, thoughtful, considerate. Reasonable charges.

If you love your pet take them to a real vet. Prices are outrageous as well. Worst veterinary experience I've ever had.

Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.
