All offices of Cumberland Mental health and Volunteer Behavioral health are under the same umbrella. They use antiquated practices and equipment. They will never care about you, your condition or your feedback. The lies they tell about the new state law can easily be proven by reading the law yourself or going to a competent mental health provider. They should be under investigation or closed down. Do yourself a favor and find another provider.

I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance, as the clients would not respect the furniture. They should really allow for more time in between appointments and need to treat incoming patients with more respect. They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer. I waited to check in for at least 5 minutes as the receptionist was busy entering information into a computer instead of looking at me and saying, I will be right with you. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. If I were in some kind of an emergency I'd go back.

Yes, there is a definite trend of overbooking here

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible
Was this provider willing to stay open late to accomodate your needs?
No, they close exactly on schedule despite any circumstances

No, putting customers first doesn't really seem to be a priority to them

No, this provider rarely answers questions over the phone

Not at all! They were boring and outdated

These people do not care about your condition or prescribing you the right medication. The one of only two providers in the building I had the displeasure of meeting had little to no interest in my symptoms and prescribed a medication that did not help AT ALL and in fact made me even more depressed/anxious. When I returned to express how badly the medication affected me, I was interrupted and basically told that I had to take what was given to me or nothing at all. I was completely shocked at the level of disinterest in actually treating my specific condition.

I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. It made my experience that much more enjoyable. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.
