I was not treated with respect when I wanted information about the therapist so I could decide for myself who I would want, I was expected to use whoever they recommend

They're horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! At Transitions they insisted I come in in the morning even after I'd explained that time wasn't good for me. I was told the admission process was so long I'd need to start in the morning. I later found out that wasn't true at all. I don't know whether the receptionist who told me that did it for spite because she could, or what, but what else are customers supposed to think? I have made four attempts to get established with a caseworker. The first one did nothing. She told me she'd submitted an application to Springfield Housing Authority on my behalf. I found out two months later that she'd lied and hadn't submitted a thing. After a few weeks she was a no call no show three times. The second one resigned two weeks after I'd been assigned to her. With the third one I just got told to come by and wait and she'd work me in. (Everyone knows disabled people couldn't possibly have anything else important to do that day.) I went in at 9:00 a.m. twice because that was the time I'd been told to show up and get in line. Both times case manager #3 wasn't even there.

I appreciated that I saw this provider treat their staff with respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with their staff members. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. They answer the phone right away and I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time. I am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They sure didn't make me feel rushed. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting more than half a day.

However, certain staff members treated a family member very rudely because they did not have the proper paperwork according to their records and interrupted my visit with my doctor to make me sign a form. I don't feel my visit was very productive after that knock on the door and them barging into my session. It caused us all to loose our train of thought. Staff needs to be better trained in protocol, perhaps have the form signed before or after the visit, not during a session.

Definitely, they make everyone feel equally respected and cared for

No, they were ready for me right after I arrived.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

I am very grateful for all the help I get from my case worker at Burrell, I do not know what i would have done without her help. While I have had appointments cancelled this is extremely rare and they are always reschedules for the earliest possible date. I feel that my case worker is very caring and is a true professional.
