On Monday Apr. 22 I went to The martin Center to have a routine Colonoscopy done. The tech. that came to my room to put my vein port in could not find my vein and stuck me 4 or 5 times she said she finally got it in, but after they took me to the procedure room a prep nurse checked the port and said the port was not in my vein. She reinserted the port correctly in another location. My arm, where the first port was inserted is very bruised and is also tender. After I got home later in the day, I realized the nurses had left one of the monitor pads glued to my side. It was painfull to remove. Overall I was satisfied with my visit, but I feel that it could have been better.

I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. Their staff is very friendly and professional.
