They have an excellent staff of people working for them. We saw Dr White when we came in with our dog. She is very caring and passionate about what she does. The receptionist up front is great too. She makes everyone there feel like their animal is the most important one there. She ran all over the place answering phones, waiting on customers with emergencies and boarders. They have a gold mine with her and Dr White. They were extremely busy the night we came in. We did not mind the wait since everyone who is there has some kind of emergency. Our dog is doing great. Many thanks to Animal Emergency Center.

i got great care at the clinic. I was there several hours and they were very busy that night. All the customers that left while i was there seemed to be happy and grateful for the care they received. i did not hear ONE person complain about the cost. Realistically speaking VET care is exxpensive everywhere.

While I was there a young girl and her mother came in with a kitten that was almost dead and not breathing. Unfortunately the kitten died but the staff was very caring and took time to exxplain to the girl what happened. IN ADDITION it appeared that they did not charge her.

I wish they had a full time clinic. I would take all my animals there.

Dr. Nash and staff are the best. They provided first class care to my Italian Greyhound (Chloe) when she had a life-threatening crisis. It was truly a middle of the night emergency, and I'm so grateful they were there when we needed them. The $330 bill, while not inexpensive, was fair, and worth every penny. Chloe stayed overnight at the hospital and the staff took great care of her. Don't hesitate to take your pet to this facility if you have an emergency.

I understand that people who post the negative reviews probably get frustrated over the price, and their insistence on an upfront deposit, but I'd like to offer my perspective on the situation

#1 The Animal Emergency Center is a business. At the end of the day, it exists to not only provide a service to the community, but provide a living for it's staff members. It's open 24/7. It has fixed operating costs whether one. ten, or twenty patients visit per shift. This requires typically higher per visit charges than the local neighborhood vet clinic.

#2 Expecting to take your beloved pet to an emergency room and walk away paying the same fees that you would for a routine office visit, probably isn't realistic. If you visited a human ER in the middle of the night for your care, it would cost you more than a visit to your primary care provider. That's just the nature of emergency medicine.

#3 Although the overall charges might seem steep, they really aren't when you consider they might include:

Vet's office visit fee
Lab and/or other diagnostic testing
Radiologic imaging
IV Fluids
Medicines/vaccinations administered in clinic
Other treatments or therapies or treatments performed in clinic
In-patient hospitalization/nursing care/patient monitoring
Outpatient medication prescriptions

#4 The clinic staff insists on discussing the charges, receiving authorization, and collecting a down payment up front benefits the patient's owner(s). It might seem pushy, aggressive, or insensitive, but the alternative is performing potentially very expensive treatments the owners may not be willing and/or able to afford.

The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
I definitely think that I could have gotten much better service somewhere else. I believe she needed blood work and more exploration of her issues. I left feeling very confused and frustrated.
They are extremely expensive and have a big focus on money. You are asked to sign a paper when you arrive and again, after your animal is seen but not yet treated, authorizing charges of up to several hundred dollars.
I will have to take my dog to someone else right away, when regular weekday hours resume.
