I had been seeing Denise Jones for 6 years before my horrible experience. I never fully trusted her, as I felt a sales pressure every time I brought one of my dogs in. I fostered English Springers, and Denise Jones was fully aware they were fosters, but seemingly tried to push upon me everything under the sun that cost extra money. I had a puppy with a rash on her belly a few years back. Every time I took the puppy back because the antibacterial was not working, she would give me another round of it, and tell me it takes time.
I went to CVS, convinced by instincts that it was a fungus, got a variety of anti-fungals, jock itch spray, athletes foot cream, used all that on my puppy, and she was cured in 4 days, after months of the useless antibiotic Denise jones was selling me. Still, I did not leave Denise Jones’s office, as I know dermatology is the hardest to diagnose. I thought I may have just gotten lucky.
Then there was the feral kitten I took there with ear mites. Had I known the 35.00 “test” they would perform included only putting a sample of her cerumen on a microscope slide and looking at it for moving bugs, heck, I could have done that myself with my daughter’s microscope, less the 35.00. Why would this test be needed anyway? When I say I see mites, why do I have to pay 35.00 to prove what I said I saw is really what I saw? Yes, your cat has ear mites like you said she does, that will be 35.00 please for that 5 second microscope peer.
I don’t know, but still I stayed, for six years, until the last visit.

At the last visit it was evident that she somehow found out I am a Cesar Millan student and trainer on facebook. She then went ballistic on me when I brought my dogs in for the next visit. She was not raising her voice, but her voice was angry and nasty, she would not make eye contact with me, and told me the methods of Cesar Millan are abusive, and I should be ashamed of myself for working with such scum, and that I am an animal abuser like Cesar Millan is.
YUP. WOW, my son and I were speechless, just speechless.

Needless to say I will not be going back there. When I acquired a new vet, a wonderful vet, Brunswick would NOT give my records to my new vet without me paying for the records by page. So this means unless I pay them money for the abuse I received, I will not get my records and not be able to tell my new vet about when my dogs had their shots. I DID even pay for that final visit, I mean, I even PAID for that, but still, they are black mailing me for the money for the records. No way. I will not do it.

Opinions in training are varied, and I have always explained Cesar’s methods to people when they have questions, but this woman just all out attacked me for being a Cesar trainer. I am still in shock.
May I recommend many other terrific vets in the area, steer clear of this nut job.

No. I still haven't talked to them.

No, they were ready for me right after I arrived.
Is food and water always available for your pet at this veterinarian's office?
No, my pet was dying of thirst the last time I was there
Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines?
Not at all! They were boring and outdated
Does this veterinarian offer emergency after-hour services?
No, there is no way to reach this vet if it is after business hours
