I have been with Dr. C. for over 30 years and would not even consider changing even with a vet two blocks from my home. Dr. C is the best. He takes the time to explain issues with my dog and giving helpful hints on the issues. He is very gently with Miss Buckeye and payes attention to her by petting and talking to her. Love Dr. C as my vet.

They seemed like they were extremely irritated to answer questions. (Unless you want somebody to screw up their face like their sucking on lemons when they're talking to you). They bristled at having their opinions questioned. I came to realize they had no intention or desire to help my pet at all and indeed did not have supplies or medications on hand to even basically treat my pet I found out over time as the needs arose one by one after they accepted him for hospitalization. I took for granted to verify that my pet would get all necessary pain medicine at admission as it was the standard practice at the emergency vet I transferred him from & found out that they had only administered it once in 3 days & left him lay in pain. They pressured me to euthanize my animal and were not supportive - in fact literally guilted me into it going as far as to tell me they believed he could even have a brain tumor (he was there for a urinary obstruction ???!!!). If you want a progressive/educated practice this is not the place for you. Show up for a surprise visit & find him in a cage without food or water. I paid the same amount to them that I would have paid for 24-hour critical care at the emergency vet & received substandard and actually unethical non-care. I could go on an on about the staff's inconsistency at every question (yes he had his antibiotic at 7 because we give it twice a day --when he was given an antibiotic injection and he wasn't even on oral antibiotics) just no clue and no concern as to what they were doing or saying. Once I'm lied to I never trust you. I will never forgive myself for not removing him at any cost & re-transferring him to a place that is about preserving life (where their goal is to quickly end it) & also to a place that provides comfort care & has the supplies & meds to do just that (what I thought I had paid them to do). I did not feel my pet was safe with them but they refused to release my pet for transfer back to an emergent facility unless they removed his catheter (which they never placed in the first place but was placed at the emergency vet) which would have cost me hundreds to replace again let alone the pain of the procedure for him so they pretty much forced me to euthanize. (I couldn't leave him there & they were making it so I couldn't transfer him) The full extent of his mistreatment in their care wasn't fully revealed until day 3 & with all of the above I caved in and euthanized my pet with them standing over my shoulder repeatedly offering no hope & guilting me into doing it. Most people spending hundreds of dollars on their pet are in it to save their pet NOT put them somewhere to be mistreated & ignored in pain for their last days on Earth. I don't know how they sleep at night. It was the worst experience of my life & I hate that I ignorantly chose their facility in a crisis moment. Never again. Consider yourself warned.
