My wrist was hurting so badly I could not do my yoga.
Chris, my massage therapist focused on my shoulder & I was able to do my yoga the next morning w/o any pain.

First, off, I had a wonderful haircut here. Then, all went to hell. Before the haircut, I casually asked how much it would be. I was told $20.00. This sounded about right to me, so I had my hair cut. After I signed the bill, I noticed it was for $40. I courteously informed the woman, who I later learned was the owner, that there was a mistake, as I was told a haircut would be $20. She hit the roof. She started yelling at me that the $20 price was for locals only, as was indicated on her menu of services, which she shoved in my face. I respectfully told her that was all well and good, but I did not look at the menu, I just asked how much a haircut would be. At this point, the receptionist that quoted me the $20, sheepishly informed her irate boss that I was right. The owner then started yelling at her young receptionist right in front of all the customers. After reducing the bill, the owner pulled the condescending card by saying, "Your not in Tucson anymore." No, I am not. There, and in almost all places in Telluride, people treat a customer and employees with courtesy and class. Man, what a way to run a service business in a tourist destination. UPDATE: As I was walking by later, I saw classless owner taking down flyers advertising $20 haircuts. You should check out ALL the reviews this provider has on Yelp. My experience is the norm, not the exception.

NEVER GO HERE! HORRIBLE owner who was rude and provided bad service. Sat down for my pedicure and was told one lady would start and the ownder would finish by painting the nails. I told the girl I had to be done in 1.5 hours for a dinner. She worked on me for 1 hour the the owner came and re-did much of the filing and trimming again - another 30 min. Then she was SHOCKED that I dont her I would have to skip the manicure becuase everything was taking so long and that "this was not some run of the mill asian nail place.... Kelly Rippa comes here to get her nails done!" - extremely racist and unprofessional. She then proceeded to roll over my toes with the chair and blamed me for sticking my legs out too far. At that point we were over 2 hours into the appointment and I couldnt stay any longer or tolerate her opinionated unprofessional behavior. They already had my credit card as I was supposed to get my nails done too and she had the audacity to charge me 20% gratuity on top of the $95 pedicure!!!! Just the pedicure, who pays $95 for a pedicure??? Im from downtown Chicago and that's ridiculous. I didn't sign the slip and will be contesting the service with my CC company. Her last statement to me was "if could reverse all the stress you have provided me during this time, I would!" If "Stress" is expecting to be provided with quality and efficient service that doesn't force me to go home and paint my own nails and toes, then maybe she should go back to wall street where she said she gave up a a career.

We went to Telluride for the day and told our 13 year old daughter, and her friend traveling with us, that they could get a pedicure while we were there. My daughter asked where a nail place was while shopping and someone told her about this salon. My wife took the girls in there and asked how much it would be for a pedicure for them and was told $85. We thought this was rather high as you can get a great mani/pedi in Houston where we live for $35 for both per person. Whatever, we were on vacation so we indulged. My wife agreed to the rate and then the owner was pretty curt from the moment my wife was instructed that they have a 20% gratuity added on and my wife said that was entirely too much and offered $15 for a tip for both and the owner said that was ok. During the pedicures (that took 2+ hours to do) My daughter texts me the following ...."I am not really enjoying the pedicure. This place is so horribly run and there is this brand new girl and I obviously have her as she filed my nails like claws, she is horrible." " The owner is bad mouthing people that come in after they leave and the girl doing my nails is reading a chart on how to do pedicures".

We picked the girls up and their nails looked like a pretty shoddy job. We almost went back in and asked about it but blew it off as a crappy experience. Both of their nails had been cut so close that their toes were red and there was nail polish all around their toes that should have been cleaned up for what we paid and how long it took. But we blew it off and continued on our trip.

I got home and was reviewing my credit card bill and saw that the spa had charged me double ($203.40). We called them and the owner was extremely irate right off the bat and said that it was $85 per person, not for both. It was insane at $42.50 per, just preposterous at $85. Plus she added in more for tip because what we left wasn't enough, after she said it was. My wife was terribly upset with her and they were both yelling at each other. We said we were going to protest the charge if she didn't honor what was originally said and my wife did sign the slip for $170 and failed to look at the charge amount, so that was our bad. The owner threatened to have us arrested if we ever returned to Telluride. For what, having a bad pedicure and getting screwed by her?? After more arguing, she agreed to credit the tip off after berating me that it was less than 10% and I said they deserved nothing for the job they did. Ugh. I don't know how this person is in business. Please look around for nail work in Telluride. There has to be more options than this place.

I booked a "shalack" manicure, because she did have gel, well ok, should be the same.
I went to the shop a little early, my manicurist turned out to be the owner, was late and offered no apology. Then as she looked at my nails, she stated that she won't do "XY or Z" inc. a simple french style polish. I asked why all this wasn't explained when I made the appt., as I was getting up to leave.. and she sarcastically said " Maybe I would like to go to school and learn how to do my own nails!!!" With that I slammed the door and left. I will not go in there again, EVER!!!!
