My wrist was hurting so badly I could not do my yoga. Chris, my massage therapist focused on my shoulder & I was able to do my yoga the next morning w/o any pain.
First, off, I had a wonderful haircut here. Then, all went to hell. Before the haircut, I casually asked how much it would be. I was told $20.00. This sounded about right to me, so I had my hair cut. After I signed the bill, I noticed it was for $40. I courteously informed the woman, who I later learned was the owner, that there was a mistake, as I was told a haircut would be $20. She hit the roof. She started yelling at me that the $20 price was for locals only, as was indicated on her menu of services, which she shoved in my face. I respectfully told her that was all well and good, but I did not look at the menu, I just asked how much a haircut would be. At this point, the receptionist that quoted me the $20, sheepishly informed her irate boss that I was right. The owner then started yelling at her young receptionist right in front of all the customers. After reducing the bill, the owner pulled the condescending card by saying, "Your not in Tucson anymore." No, I am not. There, and in almost all places in Telluride, people treat a customer and employees with courtesy and class. Man, what a way to run a service business in a tourist destination. UPDATE: As I was walking by later, I saw classless owner taking down flyers advertising $20 haircuts. You should check out ALL the reviews this provider has on Yelp.
