They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Sadly, My father was placed in a wrong ward, The care coordinator and the nursing supervisor were on vacation at the same time, so there was no employee available to review all of the care given to him. I dealt with each nurse and trained several on his personal care as some were not trained for his personal situation.

There were a few people who stood out and were exceptional, but it was a real eye opener. It was easier to get him transferred out than transferred to the short term rehab section. The RN on his ward was fabulous, but the inability for the nursing staff to know his schedule was something I did not foresee.

His Doctor there, gave orders to run tests in advance, and so even though he was being changed to another facility and the doctor was aware, a stop order was not placed, sand more blood was drawn on the day of transfer. Also the doctor only deals with medical and does not consider the body physically as medical. This leads to more confusion in communication.

Also the medical and doctor meds with 24 hour notice were inadequate for his transfer and so his normal medication ( taken at home) was not allowed.

This used to be a grand place, however in the last 20 years it seems they mainly deal with dementia and alzheimer's patients, and to have a medical rehab person in the long term unit while attempting to walk was a joke. The obstruction and noise was intolerable.

While I realize everyone's health care needs are different, I did not realize that I was to place a transfer for another unit, all supervising him never thought of it. This may be the future of health care in the USA.

I would never use this facility for a person who is sick and in need of medical and physical, while the person have their mental facilities.

Absolutely! It is right off the freeway and close to everthing

Definitely not; I received the best service ever!

No, they could have used some continuing education

Somewhat, they didn't want to listen to almost anything I said

No, they needed to make more of an effort to stock them

No, and they don't make an effort to even try
