I have just been using them for my Mom for about 2 months now.There has been a lot of miscommunication and I am hoping we have worked it out now.My Mom is in the skilled nursing portion at this point.Her semi room is basically just like a hospital room.The Staff are very friendly as well as the Administrator I have been working with.I will say I am disappointed that I was not made aware that she fell while she has been there.I will also say that my Administrator could use some more help.She is great but seemingly overloaded with work,ergo the miscommunications.I have no way to determine their level of care as my Mom has never been in a skilled nursing facility.

the one star given was only to be able to post a review.........................................the absolute worst nursing home ever- the care is horrible (if you even get any care at all) the place is extremely understaffed with uncaring help and staff that blatantly lies about what is going on. after giving my mother 4 lethal doses of insulin in april don davanzo- then the administrator- doctored all the records and swore to the granby police that noon on the staff would have done it- and that i- the daughter am the guilty one. they negated every right allowed for residents for my mom and refused proper medical treatment causing her to become blind. the medical director is an ob/gyn (he has since included "internist" on various websites) which is really bright for a nursing facility (and my mother is neither pregnant nor has syphillis) listen to their phone recording and keep in mind that everything said is a lie.

It is obvious that their facility is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic. The staff was truly one of the best staffs I've ever seen. They genuinely care about everyone who visits. The staff is great about turning their phones off when they come into work. Their full attention is always on the patients. They were the most polite, respectful staff I've ever seen anywhere. They made everyone feel welcome. I noticed their credentials hanging on the wall right away when I walked in the door. It made me even more confident that they were qualified.

My dad was not there long (he was there for his passing) but I was very impressed with the staff and the facility. The staff was very caring, compassionate and competent not only with my dad but with us as well. I have had experience with other nursing homes with my mother and this one was far and away the best. The appearance was very pleasant and it smelled and looked very clean.

My family and I were very concerned about placing our Mother in a nursing home. We all live out of state and its difficult to take care of her from a distance so we needed to find some place that was up to our standards of care. When my sister and I visited Meadowbrook we didnt even bother looking at other places. The facility is very clean and astheticly pleasing. The staff are very compassionate and take pride in the care they give. They treat the elderly with respect. That was very important to us. The atmosphere is bright and positive.
We know that Mother is in very capable hands and we want to thank every one at Meadowbrook for turning this into a positive experence.
