DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!! My father has been there for three weeks and I am not satisfied. They do not answer their phones. I have called up here numerous times. In the instance that I am able to get someone on the phone, they transfer me, and then no one answers the phone. When prompted to speak to the Nursing Director, Facility Manager, Reception Desk, or pretty much anywhere else, no one answers the phones. No one checks their messages, or they do not have a voicemail set up. How am I as a concerned family member supposed to call to find out what is going on with my family. He has vision problems and has asked for assistance during meal times to at least position the food in front of him, and let him know what is being served. They have a problem with this. He has asked to not have to sit in the uncomfortable wheelchair for long periods of time, and they have an issue with assisting with that. Someone contracted Covid while at the facility. I still have not received a call regarding the Covid issue. However, my father received a call on his phone to let him know what the issue is. I received a call in the middle of the night this week to say that they do not have an emergency contact on his account. After midnight, receiving a call requesting this information, that has been given to them several times. Unacceptable. Mixing up the patients because they have the same last name. One being male, one being female. Unacceptable. Not allowing for visitors to come into the facility to see a patient. Unacceptable. Forgetting or losing patients because they have been moved out of their room to do other things in the facility. Unacceptable. I will be moving my father outside of this facility as soon as I can. And I would recommend that if you have someone there, get them sent somewhere else as well. You can’t get better without the proper care and treatment. And I am expecting for my father to get better and come home. So with that in mind, it’s a no for me for Manor Care of Wheaton.

No, I don't think they appreciate my loyalty

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

They did what I asked, not a bit more
Did this senior care facility prominently display their credentials or business license?
Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.

Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

First day of my mom's visit, the staff never came to introduce themselves, we waited for approximately twenty minutes with no response. I as the spoke person for the patient had to inform the head nurse of my mom’s condition. The staff never to the time out to read the patient chart, to see that the patient was a risk for falling. I was informed that the beds did not have rails on the side of the bed to secure the patient. The patient was placed on oxygen when the hospital stated that they wanted the patient to breathe on her own. There was just a bunch of confusion with the care takers in reference to the needs of the patient.

No, they were out of everything!

The staff didn't seem to know very much, they couldn't ever answer my questions
Does this provider adhere to the customer is always right policy?
Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them

Yes, I had to wait a long time before someone was able to help me
