Overall good. Clean. Most staff are caring, although it does sometimes take awhile to get a call button answered. That's an administrative staffing issue, not neglect. They have so many residents and limited staff, especially on weekends and holidays. My wife had been in Van Duyn. Loretto is a HUGE improvement. I see some bad reviews here, for Loretto, but I disagree. The bad reviews are all 10 years old.

They do not return calls to family members. They have only a couple of people that really care about their job & residents. Pretty much it is all about a paycheck. My mom is there because she had rehab. I am trying desperately to get her somewhere else. The system failed to advise when you run out of private funds that they will be very reluctant to take your loved one. Then you are stuck. This facility could do so much better. I look at this facility as a prep for the funeral. If they just treat residents as people, that would be great. Very few talk, encourage & make the effort to assist.
I am very disappointed in this part of Loretto. Hertiage is a good place for assisted living & they listen to the family. They care!

They provide the worst possible care I have ever witnessed. There are no water pictures for hydration of a patient who has frequent bladder infections. They provide no personal care on non shower days. I found the control for the bed alarm next to my brother on his bed where he can turn it off despite the fact he is a risk to fall. We are looking into having him moved to another facility due to the poor care he receives.

My Mom is in this facility, at this point I would not recommend this facility! She has been there approximately 7 months and during that time contracted scabies, which has been misdiagnosed as a rash due to incontinence. She was finally sent to a dermatologist to be diagnosed. With this taking so long,,,,,it has put our Mom in undue stress and pain and the possible infection of other family members, not to mention patients and staff!!! The doctor, not sure if you can call him that, saw her 3 times in 7 months and still did not recognize the problem. My sister, brother and I will be following up on this and other matters, in the care and treatment of our Mom. She deserves better than she has gotten thus far!!!!!

my mother has been without heat in her room for 5 days, I was told they only have 1 maintenance worker for each building, that is not a good excuse, elderly people feel the cold more. this should have been addressed the first day it was reported.
