Let me just say, I was pretty shocked that this business was in such a bad neighborhood. It's not what I was expecting when I made the appointment and I did not feel safe. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. Everything they originally told me they would be able to do for me, they ended up not being able to do. I felt lied to. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from.

If you care at all about your loved one, don't ever let them check into this place. It is horrible. The staff may try to deliver good care, but the standards are so low, they can only do so much with what they have. My mother was nearly given an overdose of medication, she was stripped and left naked on her bed with no covers while doing the intake process, the food was disgusting, the beds are air mattresses and very small, the hallways smell of urine - and that's a short list of the issues with this place. Please make sure you take a tour before you let someone you love go to Cedars.

The facility was clean and the staff was alert and caring. There was an open and friendly atmosphere with individualized attention to the various residents. Clearly a superior place with every effort made to help seniors adjust to a new environment. A happy place!

Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there and I didn't feel my grandmother was properly cared for there. I was horrified to find my grandmother in a sweltering cafeteria without any personal hygiene, and due to a hand injury she should have food cut up for her. Also due to her injury she required a lift to use the bathroom and, it took over 30 minutes to get (very irritated) help & then they left her on a bed pan until it was almost bedtime, and I had to ask for it to be taken care of far beyond a reasonable period of time. I was completely exasperated & heartbroken by her treatment. The aid did a poor job cleaning her up, dumped the shitty pan in the trash can and left? I moved the trash into the hallway because it was worse than an unflushed toulet. I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I would RUN from this place if you can. The elderly and disabled deserve to be properly cleaned up and cared for. They were shuffled around by people who apparently hate their jobs and have no business being called caregivers. If my grandmother didn't have dementia she would have been beyond humiliated. If I could have taken her out of that facility that night and run with her I would have. No human being deserves to be cared for this way & families need facilities at times due to injury or caregiver relief. What a sad state of affairs!

No, they've never taken personal calls with me
