Let me just say, I was pretty shocked that this business was in such a bad neighborhood. It's not what I was expecting when I made the appointment and I did not feel safe. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. Everything they originally told me they would be able to do for me, they ended up not being able to do. I felt lied to. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from.

If you care at all about your loved one, don't ever let them check into this place. It is horrible. The staff may try to deliver good care, but the standards are so low, they can only do so much with what they have. My mother was nearly given an overdose of medication, she was stripped and left naked on her bed with no covers while doing the intake process, the food was disgusting, the beds are air mattresses and very small, the hallways smell of urine - and that's a short list of the issues with this place. Please make sure you take a tour before you let someone you love go to Cedars.
