MY FATHER IN LAW HAS BEEN IN THERE PROB A WEEK NOW,
HE HAS TO BE ON A SUGAR FREE SODIUM FREE DIET
THEY HAVE FED HIM SO MUCH SODIUM HIS LEGS ARE WEEPING.
WHEN HE PUSHES THE NURSES BUTTON SOME TIME THEY COME SOMETIME THEY DONT. WHEN I CALLED TO TALK TO ADMINSTRATOR GOT FLIPPED TO VOICE MAIL NEVER GOT A RETURN CALL. SHE WOULDNT EVEN COME TO HIS ROOM AND TALK.
YOU DONT TREAT THE ELDERLY THEY WAY THEY DO . I WANT THEM TO THINK ABOUT ONE THING WHAT IF IT WAS YOUR MOTHER OR FATHER WOULD YOU ASK A PATIENT WHAT FUNERAL HOME THEY WANT ?????? OR ASK THE FAMILY HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK THEY SHOUD GET A SHOWER?????? WHAT IS THAT THEY BATHE EVERY DAY OR I HOPE SO .
I AM SO MAD ESPECIALLY AFTER THEY STUCK A PIECE OF PAPER IN MY HUSBANDS FACE SAYING HIS FATHER HAS 6 MONTHS TO LIVE......WHO THE HELL DOES THAT I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE

I wouldn't take my dog to this place I don't know how they keep winning the Blue Ribbon Award..I'm glad they transfer me somewhere else if Old a... My mother has been there for 3 was now, and they can't seem to get her the heart healthy and diabetic meals she needs, And can't give her the right medicine dosage and stealing her pain meds as well. Tells her that her pain medicine has been deleted, that's sounds too funny to me.And last night she needed a bed pan and waited 45 mins and finally the third shift nurse came in ... Well by then it was too late!!! This nursing home needs investigation for sure. But the the therapy is wonderful ! But that's all.

My mother recently spent time in Lincolnton’s Brian Center rehabbing from a hip replacement. We were so impressed with the facility, but what was even more pleasing was how wonderful she was cared for during her stay. Everyone in the Center, including the physician, nurses, nurses’ aids, therapists (physical, occupational) and their assistants, food services personnel, patient care advocates, and housekeepers were not only competent, but also kind and helpful. We were so impressed with how quickly everyone responded to my mother’s needs to ensure that she was comfortable and served with love and care. It was the most pleasant rehabilitation experience my family has ever witnessed in our many visits over the years.

I was a patient at The Brian Center until February 20, 2015 due to a broken leg. I wanted to let people know that this was a wonderful experience. The staff was both courteous and professional. The facility itself was always clean. I had the chance to observe the interaction between the staff and both rehab patients and permanent patients. Every person was treated respectfully and they were kept clean and dressed at all times. The physical therapy department was wonderful. They were encouraging and cheerful at all times. I was always made to feel that I was doing a good job at achieving my recovery. Even though the Center is a very busy place, every effort was made to respond as quickly as possible to any request made. I cannot say enough good things about the Brian Center. If I were told that I had to go into a nursing home, I would have no problem choosing the Brian Center in Lincolnton. I made some wonderful friends with both patients and staff. Once I am able to drive again, I plan on visiting the Center just to be able to reconnect with these wonderful people.
