I think it is great!! Not a patient or official family of patient, but have several interactions w/staff and 2 patients, and like what I see/hear!

This facility needs to be monitored more closely. The staffing is very inadequate. They seem to have a very laid back I do not care type of attitude towards the patients. The accommodations are very dirty and uninviting. The facility and patients smell of human waste. The patients themselves seem neglected. For example, When I was there, the staff had to be prompted to change the person whom I was visiting. When it was done, they tried to place the soiled wet clothing in with the every day dirty laundry. The equipment is very mediocre and old. (The chair in which the person whom I was visiting was assigned was broken, even though it had been ordered especially for this person) The food was very inadequate; dishes were not clean; trays were not clean; the food I would not even feed my dog. When asking staff questions, they seem to not know any answers, which simply but they need more education. This place feels like it came out of a horror movie. The location, although set in a serene area, is very difficult to get to. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is to be used as a last resort only with close supervision from the loved ones family.

My father stays there. It is the dirtiest most downtrodden place I've ever had to visit. The staff is rude, dismissive, apathetic, unavailable, and totally disorganized. The lack of care is palpable. I wish I could open the doors and scoop everyone out to a better place. People there suffer brain trauma and can't even feed themselves or communicate their needs, and they're left at the hands of total apathy at best and disgraceful neglect at worst. They have a floor devoted to people with psychological disturbances. Anyone can be moved there at any time from another floor, if they are reported to have created some problem. That floor literally gives me nightmares. There are 250 humans with maybe 4 people at the nursing station at any given time. An actual literal depiction of what I saw was a mess of patients wandering the halls, some without pants on, some literally peeing on the floor. The place smelled so bad of urine and human output that I actually had to hold back vomit. When I mentioned the smell to the head nurse on duty, she said apologetically, "We just can't keep track of everyone at once. Frankly, we're too understaffed to keep up." They were delivering "meals" on trays off a cart that people shuffled up to and grabbed. Meds were distributed off a cart in the same way. I can't see how they call themself a "rehabilitation" center. I've seen animal shelters offer better care. I can't fathom what happens there when no one's looking.

This place stay far the staff is horrible, they treat their employees like shit! They are not kind with the patients who have to stay there for long term care. I have witnessed people who can't even pickup a fork to eat just have their meal places in front of them and removed without any help from all the useLess staff standing around and sleeping in the dining room. Please research before putting any of your family members in this hell.
