I came in for a deep tissue massage/trigger point therapy for some chronic back pain due to stress and poor posture. Tahra seemed optimistic and helpful during the consultation but during the session when I was making requests (I'm non confrontational so I only spoke up twice), she answered in a "I did everything right - you should feel perfect" condescending tone and barely did what I asked. It really felt like she has 1 bag of tricks and if you don't fit into that mold, you're SOL. I.e. if you say you have chronic back pain, she has 1 routine she performs and does not customize to your needs. It was incredibly disappointing because she appeared knowledgeable, but in the end was unwilling to continue working with me. Post-session, we talked and she basically said "I did all I could for you. If you come to me again, I will literally do what I just did- again. Sorry, there's something wrong with you. Maybe we're not a good fit." I was pleasant during our entire session and the feedback itself would be fine if she wasn't so curt about it. Long story short, she is ok if you need moderate pressure and don't need a customized session. If you have actual chronic pain, please don't visit this woman. I left feeling mentally stressed because I went to Tahra on a recommendation from a doctor I trusted, so I was super pumped and was let down terribly. The 1 star reflects her attitude and professionalism. In the words of Taylor Swift, why you gotta be so... mean?

She's one of the GREATEST massage therapists I've had the pleasure to visit and receive treatment. Without fail, every time I leave her capable hands, I feel much better. My daughter also goes to Tahra and will now go to no one else.

I would not hesitate for a moment to HIGHLY recommend Tahra to a relative, friend or coworker. She's that wonderful!!

I have gone to this therapist for a few years now and you won't find a better massage therapist in the area!! She doesn't make you sign any contract!! I have had many years of muscle pain that pain medicine doesn't touch and there is nothing doctors can do and she relieves my pain in just a 60 minute session. Her prices are comparable with other therapist and worth every penny!! I wish I could afford to see her on a routine basis but she is so good about getting me in timely!! Her office is easy to get to, clean and very comfortable!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

Definitely! They used very expensive oils that smelled fantastic

I love this therapist. She's a wonderful and caring professional who knows just how to take care of her patients. I had been going to her for quite some time, till I lost my job. So I had not seen her for over a year. I'm working now, so I'll scheduling an appointment very soon. You will never find a better massage therapist anywhere.
