Frankie Burget, 2016 and 2019 Occupational Therapist of the Year, has been a National Board Certified Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist with Lifetime Certification in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex for over 30 years. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and Instructor. Owner of Windsong Therapy and Wellness, Inc., in Bedford, TX, she is well-known in the medical community. She is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and Pediatrics.
A graduate of Texas Women’s University, Frankie's unique accumulation of education in many fields of therapy gives her a credibility that is unequaled. She is a Mastery Level Myofascial Release Therapist, is pursuing her Diplomate Certification from Upledger Institute for CranioSacral Therapy, certified in NeuroDevelopmental Treatment, Medical Massage and Wellness Education. Frankie has recently received her certification in Visceral Manipulation and Somatic Experienceing®
Her experience in all those areas enabled Frankie to develop a gentle hands-on method of treatment called Fascial Integrative Therapy™. Fascial Integrative Therapy™ recognizes the importance of the Fascial and CranioSacral systems while considering all aspects of the body. It looks at the body’s structural and functional imbalances, as well as the emotional components. She then begins the intricate process of identifying possible causes for these imbalances. For example, a person with a forward head, hunched shoulders or swayed back is out of alignment and putting abnormal stress on organs, joints and soft tissue in the body, which may contribute to the pain, disease conditions and dysfunction that person is experiencing. This therapy utilizes specialized techniques to remove fascial restrictions and rebalance the CranioSacral rhythm to allow the body to heal. In her practice she treats all diagnoses including tongue tie, sensory processing issues, PTSD, and pain syndromes of all sorts.
