I could not believe my visit with Nurse Practitioner, Sophie. As a mental health professional, you are supposed to make your patient feel comfortable and at ease regardless of what you think their diagnosis is. I felt rushed and judged from the moment she started asking me questions which made me extremely nervous and unable to respond to the best of my ability. I tried to give her personal examples of the causes of my anxiety and she didn't care to hear them and stuck with generalized questions. I feel I was misdiagnosed and just prescribed something I was very uneasy about. She proceeded to make seemingly sarcastic comments such as "well I know it must suck to hear you have a lifelong disorder" I can't speak for the rest of the staff but Sophie did not handle my case correctly in my eyes. I will not be returning to this practice as I am very disappointed with the way I was treated as an individual seeking real help.

During an emergency situation Dr. Hamilton and his staff provided the kind of care and follow-through you only hope to receive.

I love going to Dr. Hamilton. I've been going to him for years. He is very smart and knows his stuff. I trust him completely. He does not just shuffle you in and out of his office, he takes his time and listens to you. Unlike some psychiatrist that just see you for a few minutes and write a prescription Dr. Hamilton really cares and offers great resources. He really cares about everyone he sees and his office staff are wonderful. He's not all about the money, he really cares and takes the time to listen. No rushing in and out of his office. Sometimes he runs a little late on his appointments, but that's ok with me because it just means someone before me needed some extra time. He does not overbook is appointments which is nice.

Although there was a 2 months wait for Dr Hamilton, Ive met with one of his Practitioners who has been really great. This was my first experience with a Physch Dr and its been really good. She is very available and feel that the suggestions/prescriptions have been spot on. I would suggest this office to anyone.

While I regularly see one of the nurses in the practice, I was sent to see Dr. Hamilton when an appointment with her could not be made. I arrived at the practice approx. 10 min before my appointment to fill out needed paper work and almost immediately after I turned it in to the receptionist desk I was called back to be seen. At first he asked me about my background and how long I had been coming to the practice and we spoke briefly about how I felt about the service the nurse practitioner I normally see provided. He then went over all meds I was taking and asked how satisfied I was with them. He spent ample time with me to be knowledgeable on who I was and how I needed to be treated. I was very impressed with him, his knowledge and the way I was treated medically. If I need to make an appointment in the future and the nurse practitioner is unavailable I will happily see Dr. Hamilton in the future.

virtually every appointment I have had has been at least 30 minutes wait. Some even up to an hour.
