My Psoriasis was extremely flared up and was out of town. When I got back was able to call in and after a few cancellations able to get in the next gay. Doctor Johnny could not have been more empathetic and along with Michelle R. made sure I got my medicines ASAP to offer some relief. He is very knowledgeable about this disease and offer some great insights.Everyone in this office are welcoming and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Johnnie Woodson is an incompetent physician who is in the business of helping his pocket as opposed to his patients. His wait time is excessive with an average wait time of at least 1 hour minimal. Upon sign-in he has you fill out a cosmetelogical procedure inquiry for his financial gain obviously. And after every visit he has an asthetician come in to sell you creams. His staff waits until the last minute to inform you that your insurance is out-of-network and that you are responsible for all out-of-pocket costs, even some with prior authorizations which can cost well over $1,000. As a courtesy you would think the office staff would inform you of such insurance change benefits prior to your arrival for your scheduled appointment. However, they don't until you are there. You would think that a physician takes a Hippocratic Oath of helping patients as opposed to helping only themselves. I would definitely NOT Recommend Dr. Johnnie Woodson to anyone.

What a disappointment this hack received 2013's Best Doctor Award, which was the very reason I gave him a chance. The staff was cold, rude, uncaring and unprofessional and I never even saw Dr. Woodson, on my first visit, this should not be the case. The nurse stood 8 feet away from me, not looking at the condition for which I came in for. What a joke and a waste of time. They must have paid somebody to get the best doctor award because EVERY SITE GIVES THIS HACK VERY LOW RATINGS.

My mother experienced an atypical skin issue. Her IM recommended Johnnie Woodson, M.D. Yes, I spoke to a courteous staff member named Tyler who was able to schedule her the next day. We were taken promptly to a room. Like Dr. Woodson, his nurse, Ariana was accommodating in listening/treatment of the issue. Doc, who mentioned his son is graduating and he will be leaving early June, (our appt. was at least 10 whole days prior) strongly believed it was dermatitis took some labs, and gave her a sample of Cloderm and sent her home to follow-up 8 weeks later. One hour later, my mother applied the topical cream to the affected area-it was burning so bad that she wanted to physically remove her skin. I called immediately and spoke to a dry Matthew who dismissed the urgency. With my mother screaming and writhing in anguish, I called again. I begged matthew for Doc to call in prescription, relay a remedy so she wouldn't have to suffer so. He said, "I told Ariana, she got the message and she will get back to you." I never received a resposne form Woodson, Ariana or anybody. I scheduled with a more considerate, compassionate physician. The vastly superior dermatologist examined my mother, listened, prescribed the correct topical, oral medications-her staff is efficient and friendly as well. It's difficutl to find a good/great doctor with proficient staff who cumulatively display care and competence in their duties. Be your own advocate, be particular and fight/challenge mediocre/substandard service-you have to!

Heed my Warning: Do not go to this office! Follow-up is obviously not one of Woodson's things. They leave you in the lurch/cold like the Arctic approach/personae to providing patient care! BTW they got the labs back in 1 day (a weekday) with complete results. I picked the results up from the lab and presented them to the new derm!
