I have not been to Dr. Johnson since 2000. But he made a huge impact on our family. We wanted to have another child, but with severe endometriosis, he wanted to do a hysterectomy. I was already missing one fallopian tube, so my chances were slim and I’d have to undergo surgery to clean up the scar tissue, which I did. The scar tissue was so severe they had to remove my other tube, part of my bowel etc. there was no more natural way to become pregnant. He referred me to an IVF clinic, worked long hours to make sure what I’d need to go through would be covered by our insurance, then said, “see you back in a while when that baby is ready”. After a miscarriage of twins at 16 weeks, he was the most positive human in the world for us. He sent me back a second time, and this round I conceived our now, 24 year old daughter. He was so open to our requests, changed hospitals so we could have family in the delivery room, walked my husband through helping deliver, showed our 12 year old daughter how to help, and made her birth THE most memorable of all 4 of our children. My post parted appointments breezed by and then our insurance went to out of network. But I will forever remember this man and all he did for our family.

Great on/gyn doctor!! He delivered both my daughters! The clinic staff was very professional and detailed. I would definitely recommend.

I was a patient of Dr. Vernon Johnson at the St. Mary's Hospital facility in Richmond Heights, MO in 1993-94 while employed with AT&T. I believe my last visit to his office we discussed my request for medical records, endometriosis, and general health issues. His professional manner during an exam was inappropriate, the breast exam. I later had to have breast surgery, a lump removed. His staff asked me to sign a card and in which I was told to read. I was under stress and medication, and could not concentrate on the reading, and just signed. I assumed it had to do with my legit medical treatment. He came into the exam room and began to ask about artificial insemination and other methods of having children. I told him I was not interested.
