Dr. Carissomo is the best dentist I have been to. I drive from Binghamton to Whitney Point to see her. A few months ago I fell and broke a tooth. I called the office in tears and she saw me on Saturday morning and did a fantastic job fixing my tooth.
A friend of mine recently moved into the area. He needed an emergency dental appointment on Thanksgiving week and I recommended Dr. Carissimo. He was so pleased with the great job she did, that now she is his new dentist.

By far the absolute worst dentist I have ever been to! She messed up a cavity, spilled the filling material all over my tooth and gums to the point that it was cutting my cheek and tounge and used a device that spread the gap between my teeth which now collects any food I eat. When I spoke with the office on the phone they said my insurance covered in full but then they sent me a $300 bill. I told them about the problems I was having and they said to come back in but when I told them I lost my health insurance they said I would have to pay out of pocket to repair the damage that they caused! And then the immediately reported my account to a collection agency. DO NOT GO HERE!!

The only time I felt pressured was when the new Oral Surgeon suggested that I have my wisdom teeth removed, though I have never had a problem with them. I refuse to see him, but everyone else in the office is great! They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. I trust them to only recommend dental procedures I actually need. I know they care more about my health than they do about making money.
