I have utilized West Nyack Dental for many years but only had cleanings even though I was not thrilled with the staff at West Nyack Dental continued to return until recently. The xray technician was very rough and rude when she did the xrays, as usual. The dental hygienist was very rough with the cleaning and talked incessantly, as usual. The dentist was fine but when I came back for a filling the dentist was very rough and caused permanent damage to my jaw as a result of pulling my mouth open and giving me novocaine in a nerve. I will now never ever return to this practice again.

I arrived for an 8:45 am appointment at 8:35 to not being greeted by a receptionist who had earphones in her ears and did not even look up. The staff is obviously very unhappy and it shows! One of the receptionist was holding on the phone and speaking loud enough for all to hear that she hates this F****** place not once several times. The hygienst came out as she was saying this and told her to say it again and she did. The time now 9:10 am. The radiologist and hygienst arrived at the office at 8:45 the time of my appointment! As the hygienst had her social conversation with the receptionist who is very unhappy with the "drama" of the place. It is now 9:10 I got up went over to the first unhappy receptionist and explained that I was leaving because the hygienst who is supposed clean my teeth is socializing the radiologist who has been here 20 minutes is no where to be found. I am now almost 1.2 hour late from my appointment time and I have a job to get to,
This office needs a real attitude adjustment --we are patients and should be treated as so! I would not recommend this office to anyone!!

AVOID THE HEADACHE!!!

PLEASE CALL ANOTHER DENTAL OFFICE!!!

1-800-DENTIST....

It's been approxiatemately four months since my root canal and still unable to see a dentist in this office to close the hole left in my mouth because of there awful customer service and the inconsideration of the doctors.

Their staff was not friendly at all, and the doctor in charge did not care on taking my complaint or even helping the cause. His solution was calling me in from work, during my lunch hour from New York City, so then I'd be told that AGAIN I'm unable to see a doctor, and return even angrier. And to be honest, I didn't feel welcome there. Stupid me for coming back to give them another chance. I feel like ALL of my appointments where pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.
