Not at all. They discouraged negative behaviors and suggested helpful solutions

When I was a troubled adolescent nearly 40 years ago he filled in some mentor gaps my father was not able to provide. He helped me get my head around some of the mysteries that were hanging me up and allowed me to work through barriers and progress.
I didn't come out perfect but I never hit anyone, never had a substance addiction other than cigs that I quit several years ago. I've never been arrested. Had I not made the breakthroughs I did with Dr. Shankman who knows if I'd be here now.
You better try to see him before he goes and retires or something. He is a true sage and the real deal.
