My son was premature and he was randomly assigned to Dr. Moore for retinopathy of prematurity. Not only was I not happy about being told to leave my son's side while I was in the NICU (she claims that it is too tough on parents to see what she does), but after his discharge I attended two visits to her office location and she was rather rude to me and my husband. We had an appointment at 1pm. I arrived 30 minutes early, most of the staff was still at lunch, which was fine, I knew I was super early. I had no problems with that, however, even though we sat alone in the waiting room for 30 minutes until 1, we then sat for an additional 20 minutes after our appointment time for my son to be called back to get dialated. We were then told we had to wait 20 - 30 minutes for the solution to take full effect. We waited an hour after the drops. I told the staff several times that we had another appointment in Dover and it appeared we were going to be late. The staff said they would have to talk to Dr. Moore when she came out of the exam room. Well when she did we heard the conversation and she told her staff rather rudely that she didn't care and that we would have to wait. That did NOT sit well with me AT ALL! My son's appointment was at 1 and it was then 2:30. After the appointment was completed, it was 3:30 and I had to rush to Dover from Wilmington for a 4pm appointment. Fortunately for her, I do not have a nasty personality and didn't verbally explode on her. I decided to hit her where it counts, her wallet. I will not return to her office and will tell everyone I can about her brash and rude demeanor. We instead will entrust the wonderful doctors and A.I. Dupont Hospital. Thank you Dr. Moore for the best thing you could have done for us.

My children and I have been going to Dr. Moore for years and we all love her. She always remembers us and even asks about my kids when I go in alone. She is always very professional when it comes to the exam, she is all business which tells me she is taking it all very seriously but still takes time to make sure she has addressed all my concerns. Her staff is great especially with my kids. They try to make it as fun as possible for kids. We get a smile and hello when we arrive and a see ya real soon when we leave. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Dr. Moore has been seeing my 12 week premature 2 lbs 7 oz baby girl since she was in the NICU! My little girl is now 3 years old and still sees Dr. Moore!! She has been very good with her every step of the way!!! And my 3 year old responds great to her!!! Also because we live out of State from where their office is I sometimes have problems getting prior approval from the insurance company and her office actually calls me to see if we have had any luck getting it yet or would I like to reschedule!! They have no problem with me calling 30 minutes prior to the appointment saying I wasn't able to get it and are more then willing to reschedule!! All of their staff is great as well as Dr. Moore herself!! I could never have asked for a better eye doctor for my little one!!!
